  • 简介与背景
The Ferdinand tank destroyer was a pivotal heavy armored vehicle developed by the German military during World War II. The 654th Tank Destroyer Battalion, which was specifically equipped with these formidable machines, saw its 5th Armored Company play a significant role in combat. Armed with an 88mm anti-tank gun and reinforced with heavy armor, the Ferdinands effectively countered Allied armored units. Formed in 1943, the battalion primarily operated on the Eastern Front, where it faced off against Soviet heavy tanks.

The 5th Company's Ferdinands demonstrated exceptional firepower and armor-penetration capabilities, allowing them to engage enemy vehicles from considerable distances. Despite some design limitations, such as the lack of a rotating turret and limited mobility, the company's commanders skillfully utilized the terrain to maximize the vehicles' combat effectiveness. Throughout their deployment, the Ferdinands provided crucial fire support in numerous key battles, offering a tactical edge against enemy armor, although they were gradually supplanted by more agile combat units as the war progressed.

It is important to clarify that this specific Ferdinand diecast model is entirely original and does not share any components or modifications with the Unimax Forces of Valor Elefant diecast model. This Ferdinand has been developed from the ground up and incorporates a range of unique features.

1 - The fighting compartment is constructed from zinc metal, showcasing intricate interior details that enhance its realism.
2 - Ammunition shells are also made from zinc
3 - All hatches and covers are designed to be movable for added functionality. A distinctive release mechanism for the fighting compartment utilizes magnetized bolts, ensuring secure operation.
4 - The main gun barrel is precision-cut using a CNC lathe machine, with its muzzle similarly crafted from zinc.
5 - The entire hull top is formed from a single piece of zinc metal, contributing to the model's durability.
6 - The drive sprockets and idler wheels are made from zinc
7 - The left and right tracks consist of 102 hand-assembled zinc metal caterpillar pieces, each secured with metal pins
8 - The commander and tank crew figures are crafted from brass
