The USS Missouri (English: USS Missouri) is the fourth Iowa-class battleship (hull number: BB-63) built by the U.S. Navy in 1944. It is also the third U.S. Navy warship named after the state of Missouri. The ship was the last U.S. battleship built and the last to be decommissioned. Participated in World War II, the Korean War and the 1991 Persian Gulf War.
On September 2, 1945, the signing ceremony for Japan's unconditional surrender, which marked the end of World War II, was held on the main deck of the USS Missouri anchored in Tokyo Bay, making the USS Missouri famous around the world.
In 1999, the USS Missouri served as a museum ship and was moored next to Ford Island in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii for tourists from all over the world to visit.
